first day of school on 5 sept! as you know, my residence is really really far from law faculty! in case i got lost, i decided to set off to law faculty 1 hour before my class was due to start! walking such long distances can be very tiring and sian. but with such nice surroundings, it more than compensated for anything..
nice and clean sidewalks..
the beautiful landscape - makes me feel as though im walking in a beautiful garden..
my 1st class (indigenous peoples in comparative and international law) was really small - with about 7 people. it was quite intimidating coz my classmates are all older than me! my first friend in law is a local canadian lady who married a Burmese and has a 5-year-old kid. she had been working in a human rights agency in Burma for about 8.5 years. woah. what a wealth of experience behind her!! she's really nice though:)
the 1st week was quite relaxed, mainly coz it was still orientation week! heh :)
