granville public market
after church last sunday, i went to granville public market with mich. there's one thing to note for anyone who goes to there - must go there with an EMPTY stomach. it's a great place to enjoy interesting/exotic/justplaingood food!! there were so many different kinds of foodstuff being sold there!! fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, breads, pasta, cheese.. practically every kind of food you can think of? it was really a feast for eyes - and the stomach of course;)

granville public market is located under granville bridge (that connects downtown vancouver to mainland vancouver)..

just like any other market place, it was really crowded with people!

interesting pastas and italian food..yummy!

what a wide selection of salami, ham and other treated meat..arent we spoilt for choice?!?

no food market is complete without cheesecakes and pastries!! haha. i was greedy as usual. but i didnt have the stomach for such heavy desserts this morning. so i just shared a scottish round pastry w mich.

more pastries to tempt us!! arghhh..

after walking around and being tempted, mich and i settled for meat lasagne and curry tutellini (some cheese pasta with veg and, as its name suggests, curry). they were really delicious:) we ate by the jetty - enjoying the food and the scenery!

the kids here are so comfortable with animals and nature:) it's such a pity that this is something that the kids back in singapore are not exposed to. erm but it seems ironic that i am making such a comment - since im like scared of anything that moves voluntarily except human beings? (yes- that includes ants, butterflies, insects..! maybe not exactly scared but i'd rather them not come near me!!)
