after class on friday, mich and i decided to take a bus down to metrotown - the mall everyone has been talking about! it's really crazily big!! there were quite alot of bargains - surprisingly..

this is the bus terminus in ubc. it's always so crowded! anyway did you notice that there are NO clouds in the sky at all? this probably explains why the sunlight is especially glaring and the heatwave especially scorching!! mich and boarded bus 49 and the journey was really long - like 1 hr and 15 mins? madness

me and mich on board the bus - luckily we managed to find seats! during the long... journey, we went passed different districts and it was obvious how each was dominated by a particular race i.e. there were places full of chinese, then another full of indians..

mich and i at the food court at metrotown. FINALLY SOME DECENT FOOD!! haha. we had korean food! it was pretty expensive - 1 bowl of beef kimchi noodles costing about CAD$7. but the serving was huge and it was really tasty:)
